Jennifer Lee Lawrence

Jennifer Lee “Weasel” Lawrence was born on August 10th, 1954, to Albert H. Lawrence and Marjorie A. Shippentower in Lewiston Idaho. She passed peacefully in her sleep on May 16th, 2024, at the age of 69, surrounded by her family.

​Jennifer attended Lapwai High School. She had various jobs in the community, such as Thunderbird Smoke Shop, the Casino Deli, and others throughout the Nez Perce Tribe. Jennifer and Sam George were married on September 17th, 1999. Jennifer lived in Lapwai for most of her life, next to her sister on the family plot of land. She is survived by her son Samuel Olsen, and daughter Latasha Warden. Jennifer is also survived by her sister Trudy Perrigo of Lapwai, her nieces Marjorie Lawrence and Lisa Williamson, nephews Ivan Lawrence and Derek Piper. Jennifer was blessed with four beautiful grandchildren Aaliyah Licaga, Natalia Whittle, Daisy Arthur, Aryanna Arthur, and a great-grandson Josse Tulee. Jennifer is survived by many relatives from her Scott, Lawrence and Shippentower linage.

Her hobbies included going to the casinos, gardening, and tending to her yard. She had a green thumb for gardening, and she liked to make beaded earrings, necklaces, and wind chimes. Jennifer also loved to go for cruises, jamming to Motown hits and sharing laughs with those she loved. She will be greatly missed, by those who knew her and loved her.

Procession: 9:30 a.m. @Malcolm Brower Wann to the Pineewaus. Burial at Agatha Cemetary . With dinner to follow at Pineewaus.
