Pamela Patterson

Pamela Marie (Morris) Patterson, 62, a resident of Battle Ground, Wash., passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. Pamela, affectionately called Pam, Mama Pam or Zee, was born Jan. 6, 1962, to Dixie (Moffett) and Dale Morris in Burien, Wash. Growing up with three siblings, Pam resided in, and traveled to, locations across the western U.S., Uruguay, Argentina and Chile, forming cherished friendships along the way.

In 1984, Pam met Alfred (Al) Patterson and they married May 25, 1985, at First Indian Presbyterian Church in Kamiah. Pam and Al were blessed with three children, Elizabeth, Andrew and Steven. Pam and her family later reunited with the children’s older sister, Sarah. Ever the devoted wife and mother, Pam offered her support, guidance and unconditional love in every aspect of their lives.

Pam found solace and inspiration in nature’s wonders, reveling in the beauty of plants, flowers and animals. Her talents included horticulture, beading, drawing and cooking. She loved music and found joy in exploring musical genres, influencing her family to share her passion for music. Pam cherished her family, which was evident to all those who knew her. Her absence leaves a void in the hearts of her family and friends.

Pamela is survived by her devoted husband, Alfred; children: Elizabeth (David) Douglas, Andrew (Samantha) Patterson, Steven Patterson and Sarah Ives; grandchildren: Kaydence, Andrew Jr., Donovan, Trenton, Charlotte, Frankie and Korie; mother Dixie; brother Michael (Shelly) Morris; sister Sandra Anderson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Cox and her father, Dale Morris.

Pam will be laid to rest in Indian Valley, Idaho.
