Nez Perce Tribe Students for Success Program Receives Recognition during National Prevention Day in DC

The Nez Perce Tribe Students for Success Program was recognized at the 2024 SAMHSA (Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration) National Prevention Day in Washington DC for their accomplishments implementing the Native Connections grant.

The panel presentation featured dedicated project directors actively engaged in tribal communities across the U.S., and their Native Connections work on policy and youth-led initiatives to prevent suicide, substance misuse, and overdose.
