McCall Aviation Open House

The Nez Perce Tribe Communications Department participated in the McCall Airport Open House, which marked the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and recognized Idaho’s veterans.

The open house featured aircraft displays, educational talks, and family activities. One activity included a children’s game where participants placed beaver tails on a runway map. Then, a stuffed beaver was parachuted from a plane, and the child whose placement matched the drop location won the beaver.

Participation in the open house provided an opportunity to engage with the public and share information about the Tribe’s work as part of the day’s outreach activities.
