‘Hunting in a Changing World’, Nez Perce Tribe participates in Panel

This week, I had the honor of joining panelists from the Idaho Conservation League, Payette Land Trust, and the University of Idaho McCall Outdoor Science School for a discussion on ‘Hunting In a Changing World’.

As the carnivore biologist for the Nez Perce Tribe, I shared perspectives on how climate pressures are shifting wildlife movement across the landscape, and the implications these changes have for treaty-reserved rights that the Nimiipuu have long fought to protect.
