Indian Child Welfare Hosts 10th Annual Family Engagement Day

On Friday, April 3, 2026, the Indian Child Welfare program hosted its 10th Annual Family Engagement Day at Lapwai City Park. The event took place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and brought together families from across the community for an afternoon of connection, celebration, and fun.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities, including an Easter egg hunt, games for all ages, and multiple booths offering resources and engagement opportunities. There was an abundance of food available, along with prizes that added to the excitement of the day.

With beautiful weather and a strong turnout, the event provided a welcoming space for families to come together, build connections, and enjoy time with one another.

The Indian Child Welfare program extends its appreciation to everyone who attended and helped make the day a success. Community members are encouraged to participate in future events as we continue to support and strengthen families.
